More and more people are choosing to dine at home.  As well as the formal dining room, the fashion for large dining kitchens means the dining table is a key feature of the kitchen, the hub of the house.  A smart , contemporary dining table and chairs is a modern look.  Extending tables are particulary useful, close them up for everyday use, the extend your table to accommodate family and freinds in comfort and style.  We have a wide range of fixed size and extending tables in solid oak, all with chairs to match.

At Fairways Furniture we have an on site workshop and can make fixed size tables in solid oak  to any size; particulary useful if you have a small space.

We have a unique round solid oak extending table.  Round tables fit a large number of diners and are very sociable as the diners can talk directly to each other so noboby is excluded, and dishes are within evryone's reach, so no passing up and down the table.  When extended to table can accommodate extra diners.

Another unique product for Fairways Furniture is the granite top table.  These can be made to different sizes and shapes with different edge finishes, in a choice of popular granites to compliment your kitchen.  They have sturdy solid oak legs. Very chic and hard wearing, a real talking point for your kitchen or formal dining room.

Chairs to go with your table are available in solid oak with timber or leather seats.  We have a range of designs from a classic all timber kitchen chair to elegant all leather high backed dining chairs.

Whilst the dining table and chairs are key to the dining room we also have a range of complimentary furniture in solid oak.  Choose from large and small sideboeards to give you plenty of storage, a dresser to display your best dinner service and a handy wine rack.  Our display cabinets fit beautifully into a dinind setting and are available in several sizes, including a corner display cabinet.  They have glazed doors and shelves with drawers or cupbaords for extra storage.
